Spizike Shoe Finished!

Today after 4 long days of nothing but sculpting and basically living in my studio space, I have finished my third infant shoe titled "Spizike Cyberprise".

Define: Cyberprise a slang term used to describe the merging of cyberspace and enterprise.

Today I started a new project a replica of the Jordan Spike, I find my self coming back to infants shoes, as they fun to take on and who doesn't love infant shoes.

This image shows the mid sole and the toe box of the shoe. You will notice the sewing details here, this was used to join the two pieces together.

Really happy how it turned out. This shoe pays homage to the keyboard.

Knocked out another sculpture today.....that makes two more to go for the show in Chicago.. I'm really happy how the nike dunk high turned out. I used less glue and more sewing.

Finished small details

Today I knocked out the final details of the air max 90. I cleaned up the shoe bottoms, placed shoe tags on each shoe and placed name plaque on caring case. I should have the final photos on the web site later in the week.

Pentium Blazer 1.0

Today all the hard work has payed off..... I finished the blazer project.

Here is a brief description....

This sculpture is part of a shoes series I'm currently working where I revisit some of my favorite classic sneakers silhouettes. With this piece , I again tried to create a complete piece with both box and shoe notice some of the details, shoes lock down inside of box for easy portability. I also tied this piece around a theme,"Pentium", the name of Intel's chips. You will notice this detail repeated through out the shoes, and box.
